Model Context Protocol server

RateZip for AI agents.

Connect RateZip to an AI assistant and ask for savings, CD and mortgage rates, or compare deposit and home equity scenarios. Every figure comes back with its source and timestamp.

RateZip publishes a connector that users of these apps can add. Server name ratezip-rates, streamable HTTP transport, no RateZip login required.

Data and limits

  • Bank savings and CD figures are rates RateZip observed on each bank's own published rate page, each with an observation timestamp and source link.
  • The FDIC national average appears only as one reference row in savings and CD results, for context.
  • Mortgage and HELOC rates are also observed by RateZip on lenders' own pages, with no third-party benchmark.
  • Observed data, not a quote or advice. Results are illustrations, not lender offers. No APR calculations or eligibility decisions.
