Full Stack Web Developer

About this role

RateZip is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to build and maintain consumer-facing comparison tools, lead-generation flows, and internal systems. Our stack is Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS on the front end, with Node.js APIs and third-party integrations on the back end. You will ship code that real consumers interact with every day.

Responsibilities

• -Build and maintain pages, components, and API routes in a Next.js / React / TypeScript codebase.
• -Develop and optimize multi-step lead-generation forms with real-time validation.
• -Integrate third-party APIs for lender matching, address validation, and rate data.
• -Improve site performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• -Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• -Collaborate with the product and content teams to ship features end-to-end.
• -Monitor production for errors and respond to issues promptly.

Qualifications

• -3+ years of professional experience building web applications with React and TypeScript.
• -Solid understanding of Next.js App Router, server components, and API routes.
• -Experience with Tailwind CSS or utility-first CSS frameworks.
• -Familiarity with REST APIs, form handling, and client/server data flow.
• -Comfort working independently in a small-team, remote environment.

Nice to have

• -Experience with financial-services or lead-generation platforms.
• -Familiarity with Vercel deployments, edge functions, or serverless architecture.
• -Knowledge of SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• -Experience with analytics instrumentation (GTM, GA4).
