Corrections

We publish numbers that people act on. When we get one wrong, we want to hear about it and we fix it in public.

How to report an error

Email corrections@ratezip.com with the page URL and what looks wrong. We read every message and reply to those reporting a factual error.

What we do

• Factual errors

  A wrong rate, date, name, or figure is corrected as soon as we confirm it, and the article carries a dated correction note at the bottom explaining what changed.

• Substantive rewrites

  Changes that alter an article's meaning get the same treatment: the note stays permanently.

• Typos and broken links

  Fixed without a note.

• We do not quietly delete.

  If an article is withdrawn, the URL stays live and explains why.

Every correction updates the article's dateModified, so you can always see when a page last changed.
