Robert Oakes grew up in Chapel Hill and attended the University of North Carolina. In fact, he is currently the top mortgage officer in North Carolina, as well as #34 in the whole country (according to National Mortgage News’ list of Top 2017 Loan Officers and Brokers).

Just one year after joining Corporate Investors Mortgage Group in 2003, Oakes became their top producing loan officer. He has financed more than 1 billion in home loans.
