About

Zions First National Bank is a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation which operates through about 125 offices and 150 ATMs in 10 Western and Southwestern states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington. Zions Bank, which is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, has around $54 billion in assets, making it the 37th largest bank in the United States. As a full-service bank, Zions offers commercial, installment and mortgage loans; trust services; foreign banking services; electronic and online banking services; automatic deposit and nationwide banking and transfer services; as well as the more familiar checking and savings programs.

Zions history goes back to 1873, when Brigham Young formed Zion's Savings Bank and Trust Company. Young, of course, was the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Zions First National Bank was formed in 1957, wen Zion's Savings Bank merged with the Utah Savings and Trust Company and the First National Bank of Salt Lake City. The LDS Church sold its interest in the bank in the 1960s, and Zions Bank has been a publicly traded company since 1966.

Today, Zions Bank offers a wide array of financial products. Whether you are looking for a certificate of deposit, savings account, checking account, or money market account, Zions has you covered. Additionally, you can also use the bank for auto and home loans. Zions offers the usual home loan products – fixed and adjustable rate mortgages, mortgage refinancing, and VA products. Even better, you can view Zions Bank mortgage rates on the Internet and apply for your loan online.

Although Zions First National Bank has grown into a large lending institution, the bank has not lost sight of its commitment to serving Salt Lake City and the rest of Utah. On Zions website, you can read about the many community projects that Zions supports and find discounts and offers to local events.
